Crow Hop Brewing

We like to keep things fresh and try out new recipes in our unique rotators and specialty beers. Check back frequently to see what we're pouring this week. We try to keep this list as up-to-date as possible, but sometimes things get in the way. Please give us a call or stop on by the taproom and we'll be happy to talk with you about whatever we've got on tap at the moment.

Opening Day Blackberry Wheat ABV 6.7% IBUs 35
Our annual spring seasonal marries a high-gravity hefeweizen with blackberries. The berries lend a purple hue to the brew, and blend with fruity esters on the nose for a banana-berry aroma. The flavor is smooth, with a slightly sweet and tart combination, transitioning into a finish that has hints of spice and a very subtle hop bitterness.

MyCrow Hop Project 1.0 - ABV 7.1% IBUs 45 SRM 15
This Juicy Red AfterNoon-England Ale is a melding of our ‘Rado’s and Afternooner with New-England-Style IPA Hopping. The experimental hops added mid-fermentation bring a bright citrus aroma and huge juicy flavor, which is also rich with caramel malt flavors of our ‘Rado’s and Afternooner. The finish is clean, and with only a hint of hoppy bitterness.

Winter Fire Belgian White IPA - ABV 6.8%, IBUs 80 SRM 4
This light-colored brew greets you with aromas of columbus, cascade, and mosaic hops, and soft fruity esters with a touch of phenolics. The flavor has prominent Belgian characteristics throughout, but is lighter bodied for a smooth and easy drinking brew with a sharp, hoppy finish.

For The Love of Hops - ABV 5.5% IBUs 50 SRM 13
Our 2017 rendition of our annual collaboration with Loveland Aleworks. This year’s brew has a cornucopia of hops from all over the world to contribute an array of aromas and flavors. It’s grassy, fruity, and floral on the nose, with a hint of biscuit from honey malt. It finishes bitter, with a deep earthiness that lingers before fading into citrus and a touch of spice.

Barrel-Aged Imperial ’Rado’s - ABV 10.5% IBUs 40 SRM 23
An imperial version of our ‘Rado’s Red Ale, aged in a Breckenridge Bourbon barrel for over six months. The aroma has vanilla and oak hiding beneath a prominent bourbon leader. The flavor, however, is deceptively smooth, with slightly sweet vanilla and caramel, finishing with lingering flavors of figs, prunes, and raisins, and a slight alcohol bite.

Greyhound Sour - ABV 5.2% IBUs  20 SRM 6
Part of our kettle sour series, we finished this ale with fresh grapefruit and dry hopped it twice with columbus and centennial. The nose is bright, with undertones of grassiness and hoppy citrus behind tart grapefruit. It has a refreshing and crisp flavor, with grapefruit dominating and hints of bready malt lingering. The finish is tart and somewhat bitter.

Nitro: High Gravity ’Rado’s - ABV 7.1% IBUs 40 SRM 14
A high-gravity version of our award-winning ‘Rado’s Red Ale. The creamy, malty brew comes through beautifully on the nitro tap, letting the caramel and roasted malt flavors come through. It has a slightly bitter bite, but is still smooth and easy to drink from start to finish.

Progression Pale Ale

This American Pale Ale is light-bodied with a pale straw color and rich Vienna malt aroma that's slightly fruity. The ale is smooth and crisp, all the way through, with a clean and long finish carrying hints of piney bitterness that will leave you craving more.

Sleeping Owl Stout
Our Oatmeal Stout is very dark and full-bodied, with predominate chocolate and coffee notes. Delicious, creamy, and smooth.

Big Water Nut Brown Ale
Based on a Northern English Brown, this medium-light bodied brew has a deep reddish-brown color. Upfront notes of sweet chocolate, toffee, and nuts are followed up with a hint of roasted bitterness. The blend of American and English hops gives this beer a balanced profile of bitterness, earthiness, and some fruit.

Hops: Summit, Challenger, Mt. Hood

ABV: 5.2%

'Rado's Red Ale
Our Irish-style red is crystal clear with reddish hues. Upfront notes of dark caramel with a slightly astringent quality build into bold roasted toffee with nutty undertones. It finishes with a light taste of toasted grain, which lends a characteristic dryness. The English hop varietals come smoothly in the finish without much hop bitterness. A crowd favorite you’ll surely enjoy.

Hops: Challenger, UK Kent Goldings, Willamette

Window Screen Wheat
An American Hefeweizen, this unfiltered wheat beer is pale in color with a medium body. It starts smoothly with wisps of banana and then finishes with hints of clove and a light bitterness. Straightforward wheat beer that'll remind you of warm summer nights and wide open doors, no matter what time of year you're enjoying it.
